Lorraine Evanoff
Book Excellence Awards Program
Talented author increases book sales, readership and following

Meet Lorraine

Lorraine found that having to market her book all by herself made the process difficult.
“Marketing has been very challenging because I do everything myself.”
In an effort to market her book effectively, Lorraine tried a variety of different marketing methods including book contests, social media, websites and email newsletters.
“My marketing approach was to submit Foliage to…book contests…and to promote through social media, Twitter, Facebook, Goodreads, Bookbub, etc. In addition to social media, I developed a website and blog.”
Lorraine also scheduled several in person events such as book signing tours and book festivals.
Becoming a Book Excellence Award Finalist
When Lorraine discovered she was a Book Excellence Award Finalist, she was thrilled!
“The news of becoming a Book Excellence Awards Finalist was a thrill that got my heart racing! It felt unbelievable because it was not an easy award to get and was very unexpected.”
Becoming a Book Excellence Award Finalist helped Lorraine increase her visibility, credibility and stand out compared to other books in her genre.
“The Book Excellence Awards Program is one of the best honors Foliage has received because of their visibility and credibility…It was also a great boost to my confidence and encouragement for Book 2! This experience has led to speaking engagements, increased readership and social media growth, increased book sales and book signings and readings.”
